Sotatercept je hrazen k léčbě plicní arteriální hypertenze (PAH) (plicní arteriální hypertenze skupiny 1) v kombinaci s jinými terapiemi PAH u dospělých pacientů s funkční třídou dle WHO (WHO FC) II až III při zahájení léčby sotaterceptem, kteří jsou minimálně 3 měsíce léčeni specifickou terapií PAH dle platných indikačních omezení.
Úspěšnost terapie bude pravidelně přehodnocována po 6 měsících od zahájení léčby sotaterceptem.
V léčbě nebude pokračováno, pokud z ní pacient, dle vyhodnocení ošetřujícího lékaře, již neprofituje (terminální stádium onemocnění PAH, pacient po transplantaci plic nebo srdce a plic), nebo nastane výskyt závažných klinicky nezvladatelných nežádoucích účinků souvisejících s léčbou.
