Pokud do dovršení 2 týdnů léčby maribavirem nedojde ke snížení virové nálože, nebo dojde na léčbě ke zvýšení virové nálože, či bylo vyčerpáno 8 týdnů léčby (cokoli nastane dříve), není terapie dále hrazena.
