Rivaroxaban o síle 2,5 mg, podávaný společně s kyselinou acetylsalicylovou, je hrazen u dospělých pacientů:
1. s anamnézou infarktu myokardu či mnohočetným postižením věnčitých tepen a zároveň onemocněním periferních tepen (včetně karotických tepen), které je definováno jako intervenční výkon na periferním cévním řečišti v minulosti či provedená končetinová amputace (ne z důvodu traumatu) nebo výskyt intermitentních klaudikací a významná periferní arteriální stenóza (50 % a více) nebo předchozí revaskularizace a asymptomatická stenóza (50 % a více) karotické tepny.
2. s anamnézou infarktu myokardu či mnohočetným postižením věnčitých tepen a zároveň s renální insuficiencí (eGFR méně než 60ml/min) či s přítomností diabetes mellitus.
