Nedojde-li k prokazatelnému zlepšení kompenzace diabetu o 7 % či vyššímu poklesu hladiny HbA1c při kontrole po 6 měsících léčby, přípravek není dále hrazen.
2) jako náhrada terapie souběžně podávanými monokomponentními léčivými přípravky s obsahem metforminu a sitagliptinu. Nedojde-li k prokazatelnému zlepšení kompenzace diabetu o 7 % či vyššímu poklesu hladiny HbA1c při kontrole po 6 měsících léčby kombinací metformin/sitagliptin (bez ohledu na skutečnost, zda se jedná o volnou nebo fixní kombinaci), není kombinace metformin/sitagliptin dále hrazena. V kombinaci s inzulinem nejsou léčivé přípravky s obsahem fixní kombinace léčivých látek metformin/sitagliptin hrazeny.
