Nemožnost použití eliminační diety musí být řádně zaznamenána a zdůvodněna ve zdravotnické dokumentaci pacienta. Léčba budesonidem v lékové formě v ústech dispergovatelných tablet není dále hrazena, pokud nedošlo po 12 týdnech indukční léčby k navození remise. Nedosažení remise je definováno jako přetrvávání klinických příznaků onemocnění a zároveň přítomnost 15 a více eozinofilů na zorné pole (HPF) při histologickém vyšetření.
