Medicinal products s obsahem budesonidu v lékové formě v ústech dispergovatelných tablet jsou hrazeny v terapii histologicky prokázané aktivní eozinofilní ezofagitidy u dospělých pacientů, refrakterních na léčbu inhibitory protonové pumpy, u nichž empirická či jiná eliminační dieta nevedla k dosažení remise nebo u kterých nemohla být eliminační dieta před nasazením budesonidu použita. Nemožnost použití eliminační diety musí být řádně zaznamenána a zdůvodněna ve zdravotnické dokumentaci pacienta. Léčba budesonidem v lékové formě v ústech dispergovatelných tablet není dále hrazena, pokud nedošlo po 12 týdnech indukční léčby k navození remise. Nedosažení remise je definováno jako přetrvávání klinických příznaků onemocnění a zároveň přítomnost 15 a více eozinofilů na zorné pole (HPF) při histologickém vyšetření.
