Ribociklib je hrazen v indikaci lokálně pokročilého (neresekovatelného) nebo metastazujícího karcinomu prsu pozitivního na hormonální receptory a negativního na receptor HER2, ve výkonnostním stavu dle ECOG 0-1:
1) v kombinaci s letrozolem nebo anastrozolem jako (iniciální) hormonální terapie u postmenopauzálních žen, které dosud nebyly léčeny hormonální ani jinou systémovou léčbou pro pokročilé onemocnění. U pacientek po předchozí hormonální adjuvantní léčbě muselo dojít k relapsu onemocnění nejdříve 12 měsíců po ukončení adjuvantní hormonální léčby.
2) v kombinaci s fulvestrantem
a) u žen, u kterých došlo v průběhu nebo do 12 měsíců od ukončení předchozí adjuvantní nebo neoadjuvantní hormonální léčby k relapsu onemocnění, a které dosud nebyly pro pokročilé nebo metastatické onemocnění léčeny,
b) u žen, které dostávaly předchozí hormonální léčbu pro pokročilé onemocnění a jsou s ohledem na celkový stav vhodné k podání intenzivnější/účinnější kombinační léčby (podání monoterapie inhibitorem aromatázy by u nich znamenalo nedostatečnou léčbu). U pre- nebo perimenopauzálních žen je třeba endokrinní léčbu kombinovat s agonistou hormonu uvolňujícího luteinizační hormon (LHRH – luteinizing hormone releasing hormone).
Pro oba body platí: léčba je hrazena do progrese onemocnění.
