Přípravek MAVIRET je hrazen v terapii dospělých pacientů s chronickou virovou hepatitidou C genotypu HCV1, HCV2, HCV3, HCV4, HCV5 nebo HCV6, bez cirhózy nebo s kompenzovanou cirhózou: a) kteří nebyli dříve léčeni, b) u kterých selhala předchozí léčba kombinací pegylovaného interferonu alfa s ribavirinem, nebo kombinací pegylovaného interferonu alfa s ribavirinem a sofosbuvirem nebo kombinací sofosbuviru s ribavirinem. Maximální délka léčby je: 1) u dosud neléčených pacientů s infekcí genotypu HCV1, HCV2, HCV3, HCV4, HCV5, HCV6 bez cirhózy 8 týdnů a s kompenzovanou cirhózou 12 týdnů. 2) u pacientů, u kterých selhala předchozí léčba, s infekcí genotypu HCV1, HCV2, HCV4, HCV5, HCV6 bez cirhózy 8 týdnů a s kompenzovanou cirhózou 12 týdnů. 3) u pacientů, u kterých selhala předchozí léčba, s infekcí genotypu HCV3 bez cirhózy i s kompenzovanou cirhózou 16 týdnů.
