Ixazomib je hrazen v kombinaci s lenalidomidem a dexamethasonem k léčbě dospělých pacientů s mnohočetným myelomem, kteří již prodělali jednu až tři předchozí linie léčby a kteří již podstoupili transplantaci kostní dřeně nebo jsou pro transplantaci kostní dřeně nevhodní. Jedná se o pacienty se stavem výkonnosti dle ECOG 0-1 (stav výkonnosti ECOG 2 je přípustný, pouze pokud je prokazatelně způsoben pouze relapsem mnohočetného myelomu, např. v případech náhle vzniklé kompresivní zlomeniny obratle), u kterých nedošlo k progresi onemocnění během léčby režimy založenými na bortezomibu ani v průběhu prvních tří měsíců léčby lenalidomidem nebo (pokud byl lenalidomid naposledy použitým režimem) v průběhu léčby lenalidomidem. Léčba je hrazena do progrese onemocnění dle platných kritérií IMWG (Mezinárodní pracovní skupiny pro myelom) nebo do projevů nepřijatelné toxicity.
