Aripiprazol je indikován k léčbě adolescentů od 15 let a dospělých pacientů trpících schizofrenií v další linii léčby při neúčinnosti či nesnášenlivosti léčby alespoň dvěma antipsychotiky 2. generace a/nebo u již léčených dospělých pacientů atypickými antipsychotiky s prokázanou obezitou (BMI větší nebo rovno 30) a/nebo dyslipidemií. V těchto indikacích bude podávána pouze 1 tableta denně v síle 10 mg nebo 15 mg nebo 30 mg. Nebo k terapii dospělých pacientů trpících bipolární afektivní poruchou (akutní léčba středně těžkých až těžkých manických epizod a profylaxe pouze při prokázané účinnosti akutní léčby).
