Paliperidon ve formě depotní injekce s aplikačním intervalem tři měsíce je hrazen u dospělých klinicky stabilních pacientů se schizofrenií s dobrou prognózou, kteří splňují všechny níže uvedené podmínky zároveň:
a) předchozí negativní skóre v dotazníku DAI-10 a byla u nich potvrzena non-adherence k léčbě,
b) před zahájením léčby paliperidonem parenterálním depotním s aplikačním intervalem tři měsíce byli léčeni po dobu nejméně 4 měsíců paliperidonem parenterálním depotním s aplikačním intervalem jeden měsíc.
Léčba pacienta splňujícího výše uvedené je ukončena, pokud léčbu není možné řádně aplikovat pro pokračující nespolupráci pacienta, nebo pokud pacient relabuje během 12 měsíců od zahájení léčby paliperidonem parenterálním depotním s aplikačním intervalem tři měsíce.
