Elotuzumab je hrazen v kombinaci s pomalidomidem a dexamethasonem v léčbě dospělých pacientů s relabující a refrakterní formou mnohočetného myelomu, kteří podstoupili alespoň dvě předchozí terapie zahrnující lenalidomid a inhibitor proteazomu, kteří nejsou vhodní pro léčbu kombinací karfilzomib + dexamethason, a jejichž onemocnění progredovalo během poslední terapie. Jedná se o pacienty ve velmi dobrém stavu výkonnosti (ECOG 0-1), horší stav výkonnosti je přípustný pouze tehdy, když je prokazatelně způsoben pouze mnohočetným myelomem. Pokud předchozí léčba zahrnovala anti-CD38 terapii (např. daratumumab), nesmělo dojít k progresi na této terapii (tj. léčba musela být ukončena z jiného důvodu než progrese, např. pro intoleranci pacientem). Léčba je hrazena do progrese onemocněni´ dle platných kritérií IMWG (Mezinárodní pracovní skupiny pro myelom) nebo do projevů nepřijatelné toxicity.
