Z prostředků veřejného zdravotního pojištění je pro jednoho pacienta hrazena maximálně 1 patch denně. Kontrola účinnosti léčby léčivým přípravkem s obsahem lidokainu je provedena nejpozději po 4 týdnech od aplikace, pokud nedošlo k dostatečné terapeutické odpovědi (zaznamenané v klinické dokumentaci a definované jako minimálně 30% pokles intenzity bolesti ve srovnání s výchozím stavem), není další aplikace přípravku hrazena.
