Z veřejného zdravotního pojištění není pacientům s CHOPN v kategorii A hrazena kombinace indakaterolu s inhalationm anticholinergikem s dlouhodobým/ultradlouhodobým účinkem.
Indakaterol v kombinaci s inhalationm anticholinergikem s dlouhodobým/ultradlouhodobým účinkem je hrazen symptomatickým pacientům s diagnózou CHOPN od kategorie B s postbronchodilatační hodnotou FEV1 dosahující méně než 80 % náležité hodnoty.
Podmínkou úhrady je dobrá spolupráce pacienta nekuřáka či kuřáka spolupracujícího na zanechání kouření, definovaného jako kuřáka, který je plně adherentní, tj. dodržuje léčebný/pohybový režim, užívá správně všechny předepsané léky a minimálně jednou u něho byla provedena a zdokumentována cílená intervence v rámci léčby závislosti na tabáku.
