Apalutamid je hrazen:
1) u pacientů s nemetastatickým, kastračně rezistentním karcinomem prostaty ve vysokém riziku rozvoje metastáz, s dobou do zdvojení hladiny PSA menší nebo rovno 10 months. Jedná se o pacienty se stavem výkonnosti 0-1 dle ECOG, kontinuálně léčené androgen-deprivační terapií (LHRH analogy či antagonisty nebo po orchiektomii). Terapie je hrazena do progrese onemocnění nebo do rozvoje nepřijatelných projevů toxicity.
2) v kombinaci s androgen deprivační terapií (ADT) u pacientů s metastatickým, hormonálně senzitivním karcinomem prostaty (mHSPC) se stavem výkonnosti 0-1 dle ECOG. ADT je užívána před nasazením apalutamidu nejdéle po dobu 6 měsíců pro metastatické onemocnění anebo celkově 3 roky. Léčba je hrazena do progrese onemocnění nebo do rozvoje nepřijatelných projevů toxicity.
