Everolimus je hrazen:
1) maximálně ve 3. linii terapie (včetně terapie cytokiny) u pacientů s metastatickým renálním karcinomem (předléčených sunitinibem nebo pazopanibem, případně též axitinibem či sorafenibem), u kterých došlo k progresi podle RECIST kritérií během VEGF-cílené terapie nebo po ní.
2) v kombinaci s exemestanem v léčbě postmenopauzálních žen s hormonálně pozitivním HER2 negativním pokročilým karcinomem prsu bez symptomatického viscerálního postižení s recidivou nebo progresí onemocnění po předchozí léčbě nesteroidním inhibitorem aromatáz.
3) v léčbě neresekovatelných nebo metastazujících dobře a středně diferencovaných pankreatických neuroendokrinních tumorů s progresí během předchozích 12 months.
Pacienti nesmí prodělat arteriální embolizaci v játrech v předchozích 6 měsících, kryoablaci nebo radiofrekvenční ablaci hepatální metastázy v předchozích 2 měsících nebo být dlouhodobě léčeni kortikoidy či jinými imunosupresivy.
Ve výše uvedených indikacích musí být klinický status pacienta dle ECOG 0-2. Léčba je ukončena při progresi onemocnění podle RECIST kritérií.
